It’s a very visually appealing series isn’t it? I love when I have those ‘appreciation for the BTS’ moments in series. You know moments where the camera direction or lighting or whatever is just so gorgeous you have to kind go ‘DAMN PEOPLE BEHIND THE SCENES. JOB WELL FUCKING DONE’

red: when and how did you first realize you loved writing?

When I started writing as a kid probably, lol. I’ve always loved to read and write my own stories. Even - even as a kid reading books, I would always pause and think ‘but what if they’d done this instead?’ First it was just short scenes, and then short stories, and then when I was in middle school I’d draw and illustrate books. High school I went through a phase with poetry - because you know, nothing expels wanton teenage angst like rhyme. I just seriously cannot remember a time when I didn’t make up stories. 

white: weirdest thing you’ve ever written  

I had to actually go through old stuff - because I don’t write a ton of crack really, or what I would classify as ‘weird’ things. So I’m gonna say my ST:VOY/BSG crossover fic series (that I never finished, shut up ugh you made me look at all my incomplete fic and no, non, nein - do not like)  The Ecstasy of Understanding

I don’t think it can be simplified or generalized in such a manner. There are plenty of ridiculously juvenile adults on here, and some super fantastic teens who could blow most adults I know out of the water with their reasonableness.

With Moffat hate, I think it’s a combination of a lot of things. Some people just don’t like his writing - you can’t please everyone. That and dislike of the fact that RTD and DT were leaving, combined with a few really terrible misquotes attributed to Moffat and both combine to create an atmosphere of loathing around him and his writing. Of course if you’re looking to find negativity in his writing, you will. I’m not saying he’s a perfect HW by any means, but overall I really enjoy him and don’t happen to see a lot of what people claim as misogynistic. Really it’s all a matter of perspective, honestly, and there’s certainly nothing wrong with looking at his writing with a critical eye. Media is meant to be consumed and discussed in a critical manner - we’re meant to think about it. And while I may never ever agree with people who find fault in his writing and running of the show, I will forever support their right to state that opinion in a logical, respectful manner. The only issue I have with it is when it steps away from critical discussion and turns into blind hatred. And that’s disturbing no matter what the subject being discussed - him or any other aspect of the show, or life or whatever. Just afford the people you’re engaged in discussion with respect. It’s not a difficult thing to do.

The Doctor tells us when in AGMGTW - she was taken in those three months before series 6 - while she and Rory were living in Leadworth and the Doctor wasn’t with them. :)

It’s from the minisodes on the series 6 DVD boxset, The whole set is called Night and the Doctor - there are 6 minisodes, that one is Last Night - it has to be watched after First Night. Um, I don’t have a link - I have been told they are up on Daily Motion though - if you go search for them :)
