Written for skye_writer for the Doctor/River ficathon
Rating: G
Word Count: 1467A combination of the prompts:
A dinner. A dance. An alien invasion. It’s just another night with the Doctor and River Song. “Good Night”/”Bad Night”-style adventure. Appearance from Amy and/or Rory a plus, but not at all necessary.
The Doctor takes River on a date to a fairground. River at the shooting gallery would be an awesome plus. Ditto any hand-holding on the ghost train (dark ride), if there is one.
Thanks to areyoumarriedriver for the beta. Any remaining mistakes are all mine.
Title: Locked in my heart in a corner apart
Characters/Pairings: Eleven/River, Ten/Rose, Nine, Martha, Amy
Rating: T
Word Count: 3,937

Summary: River had always meant to ask the Doctor about Rose Tyler, but somehow she always seemed to forget to ask. Maybe, she realized, she was afraid of what he had to say.
Original prompt: River learning about the Doctor’s past companions however you’d like. DO want a good balance between acknowledging the Rose/Ten relationship without making it the most important thing ever in the universe.
Author’s Note: The beginning has some allusions to You, me, and all that stuff we’re so scared of. Many thanks to Charina and Jadethe2nd for betaing this!
Written for Charina as part of the Doctor/River Ficathon.
Many thanks to Megs for beta-reading all these! Charina, I wrote one fic, but the other prompts wouldn’t leave me alone. So I wrote two other little ficlets as well. I hope you like :)

Title: Where I’ve Been
Author: Jade II
Word Count: 9624
Rating: R
Summary: After the Time War the TARDIS is badly damaged, so she drops the Doctor off somewhere safe while she makes repairs.
The prompt was: River/Nine. Anything. Anything. I’d particularly love it if he somehow met her pre-Rose. Just after the Time War.
No :( Well Jade wrote one where the Doctor continuoiusly rewrites time to save her, going back and back and back all the way to One, but it’s sad. And short. But awesome.
Fanfic: The Duck Pond
This is a world without the Silence, without Kovarian, and without The Question. But it is a world of Angels, as little Melody Pond learns after opening her eyes to find New York City, 1969.
Now complete :)

Title: Castles they might crumble (Part one of two)
Characters: Doctor/River
Rating: M
Summary: Good times and bad in the Wild WestNotes: Someone I follow mentioned looking for Wild West fic so I decided to write some. Title is from In My Arms by Plumb.
River’s breathing was heavy as she pressed into the wall. The Doctor was on his knees beside her, gripping her thigh. She bit back a moan as he probed, cursing under her breath as he worked. She tensed and held her breath to stop the scream as his finger slipped deeper.
I was actually just re-reading Sigyn’s ‘River Saga’ series which is amazing. It has some River/Ten though - but really good. It’s here.
Honestly perusing Whofic is a good idea - most fic I stumble across that I haven’t read comes from there. It just seems like there’s a few authors that just post there and no where else. I also happened upon an excellent fic on FF the other day The Lost Days of Melody Pond - which is by a relative newcomer to fic, so everyone should check it out - and leave some lovely feedback. The story is excellent :)
